Arbortech TURBOShaft

The new Arbortech TURBOShaft is a router attachment for standard angle grinders for freehand routing and shaping of sculptures and lettering. The 80 mm long cutter (Ø 20 mm) has two replaceable carbide cups. If necessary, the carbide cups can be twisted a bit to regain a sharp cutter and ultimately replaced. The carbide cups of the Arbortech TURBOShaft have a very long service life, even in hard woods. The same carbide cups are used on the Arbortech TURBOShaft as on the Arbortech MiniTURBO.

The Arbortech TURBOShaft is screwed directly onto the thread of the angle grinder and is ready for immediate use. An adjusting ring with an inner diameter of 20 mm is included in the scope of delivery. By means of this adjusting ring, a depth stop can be created. Also included in the scope of delivery are a Phillips and Torx screwdriver for changing the carbide cups and locking the adjusting ring.
The Arbortech TURBOShafts shank or adjusting ring can also be guided on a template.

The unique geometry of the Arbortech TURBOShaft and the arrangement of the two TCT cups ensure safe, easy and precise work without "running away" or "seizing".
The Arbortech TURBOShaft is particularly suitable for deep and narrow shapes on sculptures and fonts. It can vigorously remove material in depth and surface while maintaining a clean surface.
